External Money in BAFFL
The league is becoming more concerned about corrupt league GMs being influenced by external money. BAFFL has always prided itself on internal financing being the sole motivator for achieving the ultimate goal of winning the BAFFL championship. GM Guy has done a great job investing league funds to reward teams at the end of the season with a small amount of funds and a ride on his sea-doo. However, since the league expanded to 14 teams, BAFFL GMs have noticed a shift in certain team’s goals.
This year a BAFFL website and podcast (who won the people’s choice of the year award) were created. Moreover, @Baffltweets continues to break news at a record pace. Several GMs have reached out to the commissioner concerned that some of these media outlets are being influenced by external money and are spreading fake news about GMs as a way to appease their stakeholders. The league is taking these allegations seriously. While the league recognizes the benefit of certain media, there is no place for corruption in a fantasy football league.
The league is considering cutting the league GMs by up to half “randomly” in order to weed out some of these bad apples that have made their self-interests more important than the league. A thorough investigation of allegations will be made to determine the full extent of the corruption and shared with GMs. However, this is a democratic league and requires your vote in order to adopt these measures. To vote on this change I ask for a mail in ballot to be sent to 324 Laurier Ave West. The location of the BANK ROBBERS. I thank my concerned GMs for bringing this issue forward and good luck to the rest of the GMs this season. It may be your last.
