I am Yahoo! takes on Sleeper (Week 1)

It takes a certain type of person to become Yahoo… Too many drinks to count, too much sunlight, not enough water, and attempting to bench 225 for the first time in your life. Even if we have moved on from Yahoo the platform I will still always be Yahoo. To commemorate our movement from Yahoo to sleeper, I plan on picking upsets every week (based on the sleeper projections) in the hopes of getting more right than I get wrong. Here we go!

The first potential upset of the week. Key projections that seem off are Devin Singletary getting over 10 points on a rough NYG offence and Adams/Waddle at only 11 each. Their floor is probably around 7 with the potential for each to get 20. Theres a lot of matchup based projections in the one too which really shouldn’t be emphasized as much when teams are a lot different than last year.

Terry McLaurin is going to be fed targets. His 9.44 projection seems low this week. Sam Laporta only being projected to beat Ferguson at TE by 3 points is also suspect. Burrow is going to feed Chase early and often. I expect that stack to have a great week. Make that 2 upset picks for Yahoo.
