The final week of the 2023 BAFFL season is upon us, and while 10 teams are merely jockeying for draft position, for 4 teams the stakes couldn’t be greater. For the Birbs and Dawgpound, a chance at eternal glory and riches beyond imagine. For the Pontooners and the Voldemorts, a yearlong commitment to take care of our aquatic friend(s).
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME:
Dawgpound (+250) at Angry Birdz (-225)

On paper, this looks to be not even close, and the oddsmakers certainly seem to think this will be a lopsided affair. Might as well pack it in, right? The clock has finally struck midnight on Cinderella?
WRONG! The fairytale run will continue this weekend and starting tonight Joe Flacco and Cooper will lead the Dawgpound to their first ever championship starting tonight. George Kittle will also have a big game for the pound, while the Birdz will be let down by Josh Allen, who will be outscored by Flacco, and Jonathon Taylor, who is just kind of a bum.
Prediction: Dawgpound 101 – Angry Birdz 98
CHOMPIONSHIP GAME
Pontooners (-110) at Voldemorts (+125)
Line: Pontooners -1.5
Both teams head into this pivotal match-up banged up and desperate for help at the RB position. Pacheco looks to be doubtful for the Pontooners with a concussion, while the Voldemorts announced Tuesday that Rhamondre has been shut down for the season, and their entire bench has either been limited or missed practice throughout the week so far.
Against all odds – the difference here is at runningback, and in favour of the Volds. If Pacheco can’t go, the Pontooners are forced into starting Antonio Gibson, while even with all the injuries the Voldemorts are starting Ford and Kamara. Pittman looks like he will be good to go, and if the Volds can get just one of their remaining bench players healthy for Sunday, this squad will be in good shape. As has been the case for most of the season, look for Kelce to let his longtime manager down one last time before getting the axe this offseason.
