It’s a new year in BAFFL and the Sharks would like to start things off on the right foot, and put old rivalries and hostilities to bed.
Congratulations to the Hibiscus Battle Hogz on their week one win!
In years past, the Sharks would have spent the entire offseason talking about what a terrible squad they have, how no running backs have ever come back successfully from an Achilles tear, or how starting Christian Kirk week 1 is an embarrassment to the league.
No longer.
It’s become clear that the two franchises are simply at different levels. The Hogz were one play away from a championship and are all but guaranteed to get there again this year after a draft that yahoo would have given A++++ had the Commissioner not given him the wrong A. Rogers.
There’s no chance the Creek Crossing Sharks will be able to take down this powerhouse week one, and an even slimmer chance that we’ll be anywhere close to the Hogz at the end of the season standings.
The Sharks are building towards next year, and just hoping to get some of our young stars some reps in what is likely to be a blowout game week one.
So, congratulations again to the week one victors (probably will take down most points as well), and we’d like to put the past behind us and wish them well in their quest for a BAFFL championship.
Sincerely,
GM Shark
